Studio Website FAQs
The studio website (through Music Teachers Helper or MTH) is a way to facilitate communication between current students and teacher, and also acts as an information resource for families. While I welcome questions via phone or e-mail, many technical questions may be answered by searching for it on the website after you log in to your MTH account. This may include the following (click to expand):
How do I log in to the MTH website? When you register as a student, you will be given a user name and password if you did not create your own. Please write this down or keep it somewhere you can access it easily!
How do I reset my password? If you need to reset your password, go to
http://www.musicteachershelper.com/reset-password
Parents and child students have the option for separate user names and passwords. If you register as a parent, make sure your username and password is listed for YOU, not your child, so that you can see financial information. Child students with e-mail addresses may create a username and password to access lesson notes and contact the teacher.
How much do I owe and when is it due?It is each family’s responsibility to keep track of lesson payments and to access this information on the website BEFORE the first lesson of the year. It is up to the family to choose whether to pay by the month or the quarter, and invoices will be sent accordingly from the website via e-mail. After you
log in to the MTH website, go to the “file area” to see your individual tuition plan. Please pay within 7 days of the due date to avoid incurring a late fee.
Other FAQS
The MTH website is not perfect and there may be some glitches here and there. Please do not hesitate to contact me in case of any technical difficulties. Also, please take the time to explore the website in order to take advantage of it’s features – including the practice log, among others!
